Digital TV Installations
We have a group of very talented individuals who are both experienced and knowledgeable about their specialised areas. Our senior technicians have been with us for 20 years in one case and over 7 years in others. We are not box movers or to use an old phrase “valve jockeys”. This term came about because the early repair men for black and white television sets used to go to a repair job with a box of valves and try them until they found the one that had failed. Our technicians are far more methodical in achieving their goal. The most important step is the testing. Every installation is first tested for signal. In Melbourne there are 6 analogue signals and 5 digital signals. The technician finds the location that delivers the best signals across the 5 digital channels and, in some cases where customers still have analogue TV sets, across all 11 channels. This does take some time and is a vital first step. The number of channels varies from location to location. For example outback Queensland might have fewer channels to tune in to. "I would like to express my complete satisfaction to Deeper Image for the installation of my TV antenna (UHF Channels 28 and 31) in the suburb of Coburg. My local antenna company could not guarantee to improve Channel 31 ... I was very satisfied with your technician who answered my many TV reception questions." Many jobs we go to are after others have installed an antenna. Their testing was either poor or non-existent. The antenna has simply been plonked in the most convenient location. Many installations have been repaired simply by changing the antenna location. Just like in the real estate game it’s all location, location, location. To test effectively the technician needs a good meter. One that acts as their eyes and ears to find the television signal that guides them to the right location to mount your antenna.
